Freshwater is globally threatened and quickly turns into a challenge – to our cities, nature, societies, economies and particularly to the tourism industry. All of them heavily rely on “water” and the ways we deal with it. According to location, challenges as well as solutions can widely vary.
To showcase local innovation and to focus on water protection, offers new opportunities for destination branding and for practical, sustainable development. The cross-sector collaboration between the tourism/meetings industry and local water sector /digital governance are accelerated. To follow this track, global research for innovative projects, new technology and experiential ideas around water (SDG6 and SDG14), merged with our knowledge in global marketing and PR and building audiences.

Water Demand Management Campaigns
We use psychology, creativity and new digital tools to engage visitors and to collect data.
The interpretation and visualization of data help for a better understanding of connections – they are a crucial element for informed decision-making and to motivate visitors AND local communities. Data are needed to manage increasingly complex and interconnected systems.
HydroHealth
HydroHealth designs stress resilience and water experience programs, based on scientific research in Traditional European Medicine (e.g. naturopathy, Kneipp water applications and fasting methods). We offer program development and training for Events, Spas, Hotels — with a water-saving and awareness aspect — in collaboration with academic experts.
HydroHealth can be a “cooling” element in Heat Resilience concepts, is interactive, fun and does not require big investments. It can be applied to public health initiatives, as well as help to turn around the perception of “bad” weather in a destination. It is a program based on deep learning, helps to change mind-sets and brings multisensory experiences into incentive travel and hospitality offers. We therefore call it #experience 3.0.
Conferences and Communication Campaigns
Water Engagement in a destination, a resort or an urban space needs to be shown and communicated to the visitors. Creating water-centred narratives, and bringing them to the target groups, is our core service.
Organizing a conference to generate content and to foster the connection between tourism and the local water sector adds meaning and purpose in the effort to achieve SDG6 and SDG14 and is part of the overall communication. We organise conferences together with our global PCO partners and develop concepts and content for water/tourism tracks in combination with an (existing) sustainability event in the destination.
We curate the content of such conferences and identify speakers and keynotes. These conferences will spark interest, initiate new ideas, and discuss innovative approaches and digital solutions.
Digital Communication Strategies
We assist you in effectively communicating your engagement and initiatives in new digital formats. In FrauBlau campaigns we collect data and build dashboards for data visualization, AI driven personalized communication, integrating AR and 3D models and experiences. We scout innovative service tools and collaborate with digital experts from around the world.
