H2O (#HaZweiOh) – Water as a Key to Sustainable Development

H2O – known in Germany as “HaZweiOh” – is a joint initiative by FrauBlau Consulting and Pearls Events that brings the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals to life through the lens of water.

Press Release

Würzburg / Cologne, November 2025 – With H2O (#HaZweiOh), FrauBlau Consulting and Pearls Events launch a joint initiative that brings the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to life, starting with SDG 6: “Clean Water and Sanitation.”

H2O (HaZweiOh) – literally “Ha-Zwei-Oh,” the German pronunciation of H₂O – uses water as the central element to make sustainability visible, tangible, and emotionally engaging.

#StartWithWater ✨Sustainability evolves from water. SDG 6 is where meaningful climate action begins
Water connects everything: climate action, health, education, urban development, conscious consumption, and biodiversity. It flows through all aspects of life – and thus through all dimensions of sustainable development.

The #HaZweiOh project highlights these interconnections and transforms them into communication and experience formats that reach people directly: visitor campaigns, tourism initiatives, Urban Water Walks, SDG CityLabs, educational programs, and corporate initiatives that link local action with global responsibility.

“We want to show how everything is connected – and that change begins where we consciously perceive water,” says Carolin Hahnen, founder of Pearls Events.
“Through creative experiences, we create moments that invite participation, learning, and wonder.”

Johanna Fischer, founder of FrauBlau Consulting, adds:

“Many initiatives work on sustainability – but often side by side and without a strong communication concept that really resonates with the audiences. Our role is to connect themes and translate them into engaging, understandable stories. We create context: we show why water connects everything, and turn that into strategies people can understand, share, and apply in their own environment.”

With this narrative and strategic approach, HaZweiOh addresses regional and urban strategists and municipalities/governments, organizations, educational institutions, and companies that want to communicate sustainability in a lively, emotional and participatory way – in the spirit of the UN Agenda 2030: Leave no one behind.
